Saints top Colts in Super Bowl
Drew Brees threw for 288 yards and two touchdowns on Sunday to lead the New Orleans Saints to a 31-17 win over the Indianapolis Colts in Super Bowl XLIV.
The Saints were pegged as the 4.5-point underdogs in this contest, while the combined score fell UNDER the night's posted total (56.5).
Brees was good on 32-of-39 pass attempts for New Orleans in the win. Pierre Thomas and Jeremy Shockey each had TD catches, while Tracy Porter ran back an interception for a score.
Peyton Manning went 31-of-45 for 333 yards passing in the loss for the Colts, with one TD and one INT. Joseph Addai ran for 77 yards and one touchdown on the night.
