Ricky Williams rushed for 71 yards for Miami, while Ronnie Brown added 37 yards. Chad Henne threw for 278 yards for the Dolphins, while receivers Brandon Marshall and Mickey Shuler had 102 and 44 yards respectively.

Detroit was outgained by Miami 425-275 yards in Sunday's match, while the important battle of first downs was won 28-14 by the Dolphins.

Detroit lost the time of possession battle 37:15/22:45, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.
