Devonta Freeman rushed for 78 yards, while Karlos Williams added 46 yards in the win. Devonta Freeman and Rashad Greene added 98 and 83 receiving yards respectively.
Duke Johnson rushed for 97 yards for Miami, while Dallas Crawford added 3 yards. Stephen Morris threw for 192 yards for the Hurricanes, while receivers Allen Hurns and Clive Walford had 84 and 46 yards respectively.
Florida State outgained Miami 517-275 yards in the game, while the battle of first downs was won 25-17 by the Seminoles.
Miami lost the time of possession battle 38:33/21:27, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.
Next game, Florida State takes its act on the road to face Wake Forest looking for another win. For Miami, they head home to face Virginia Tech.
