UTSA Defeats Tulsa 34-15 - Recap

David Glasco tore up the turf for 135 rushing yards on Saturday to lead the Roadrunners to a 34-15 win over the Golden Hurricane at Chapman Stadium.

UTSA won and also put money in the pockets of their supporters by covering the 4-point spread as underdogs. Totals bettors, meanwhile, saw the game go UNDER the closing number of 54.5.

Eric Soza completed 16 of 20 pass attempts for 114 yards for the Roadrunners in the win. He did not throw an interception in the game.

Trey Watts rushed for 109 yards for Tulsa, while Ja'Terian Douglas added 23 yards. Dane Evans threw for 159 yards for the Golden Hurricane, while receivers Keevan Lucas and Jordan James had 87 and 50 yards respectively.

Tulsa lost the offensive yardage battle to UTSA 400-378 yards in Saturday's game. Tulsa had more first downs as that total ended up 20-16.

Tulsa lost the time of possession battle 30:38/29:22, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.

Next game, UTSA takes its act home to face Tulane looking for another win. For Tulsa, they head on the road to face East Carolina.
