Southern Cal Defeats Stanford 20-17 - Recap

Cody Kessler completed 25 of 37 pass attempts for 288 yards for the Trojans in the win. He did not throw an interception in the game.
Tyler Gaffney rushed for 158 yards for Stanford, while Kevin Hogan added 18 yards. Kevin Hogan threw for 177 yards for the Cardinal, while receivers Michael Rector and Dallas Lloyd had 44 and 39 yards respectively.
Southern Cal lost the time of possession battle 30:34/29:26, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.
