Idaho Falls 48-24 to Red Wolves - Recap
Adam Kennedy sliced and diced the Vandals defense for 375 yards as Arkansas State handed Idaho a 48-24 defeat on Saturday at Liberty Bank Stadium.
The Red Wolves won the battle on the scoreboard, but not at the payout window as they failed to cover the 27-point spread. OVER bettors were rewarded when the final score pointed to an OVER play.
Sirgregory Thornton rushed for 85 yards, while David Oku added 69 yards in the win. Julian Jones and Darion Griswold added 135 and 89 receiving yards respectively.
James Baker rushed for 150 yards for Idaho, while Taylor Davis added 15 yards. Taylor Davis threw for 199 yards for the Vandals, while receivers Dezmon Epps and Najee Lovett had 91 and 51 yards respectively.
Idaho lost the offensive yardage battle to Arkansas State 565-386 yards in Saturday's game. Arkansas State had more first downs as that total ended up 26-19.
Idaho lost the time of possession battle 32:45/26:50, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.
Arkansas State heads into a Week 9 battle against Louisiana-Lafayette. Idaho, meanwhile, will have their next action against Mississippi.
