South Carolina vs Central Florida Wrap - South Carolina Wins 28-25
Mike Davis tore up the turf for 167 rushing yards on Saturday to lead the Gamecocks to a 28-25 win over the Knights at Bright House Networks Stadium.

Dylan Thompson completed 15 of 32 pass attempts for 261 yards for the Gamecocks in the win. He was picked off 1 time by the Knights defense.
Storm Johnson rushed for 64 yards for Central Florida, while Blake Bortles added 5 yards. Blake Bortles threw for 358 yards for the Knights, while receivers Rannell Hall and Breshad Perriman had 142 and 109 yards respectively.
Central Florida lost the offensive yardage battle to South Carolina 490-427 yards in Saturday's game. South Carolina had more first downs as that total ended up 23-20.
The time of possession battle favored South Carolina as their offense was on the field for 30:49, longer than the 29:11 of their opponents.
South Carolina looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against Kentucky. Central Florida will aim to get back on the winning track at Memphis.
