Nebraska Falls 34-23 to Golden Gophers - Recap
David Cobb tore up the turf for 138 rushing yards on Saturday to lead the Golden Gophers to a 34-23 win over the Cornhuskers at TCF Bank Stadium.

Philip Nelson completed 7 of 15 pass attempts for 152 yards for the Golden Gophers in the win. He did not throw an interception in the game.
Ameer Abdullah rushed for 165 yards for Nebraska, while Taylor Martinez added 16 yards. Taylor Martinez threw for 139 yards for the Cornhuskers, while receivers Quincy Enunwa and Kenny Bell had 46 and 45 yards respectively.
Minnesota outgained Nebraska 430-328 yards in the game, while the battle of first downs was won 23-17 by the Golden Gophers.
The time of possession battle favored Minnesota as their offense was on the field for 35:37, longer than the 24:23 of their opponents.
Next game, Minnesota takes its act on the road to face Indiana looking for another win. For Nebraska, they head home to face Northwestern.
