Cornhuskers Fall 21-17 Against NIU - Game Recap

Jordan Huff tore up the turf for 105 rushing yards on Saturday to lead the Huskies to a 21-17 win over the Cornhuskers at Memorial Stadium-Lincoln.

The Huskies were a +10.5-point underdog in the win, and managed to turn a profit for their supporters. The combined score dipped UNDER the total, which closed at 56.5.

Jordan Huff rushed for 105 yards, while Marcus Childers added 10 yards in the win. Christian Blake and Jauan Wesley added 77 and 29 receiving yards respectively.

Mikale Wilbon rushed for 90 yards for Nebraska, while Devine Ozigbo added 8 yards. Tanner Lee threw for 299 yards for the Cornhuskers, while receivers De'Mornay Pierson-El and Stanley Morgan had 101 and 94 yards respectively.

NIU was outgained by Nebraska 384-213 yards in Saturday's match, while the important battle of first downs was won 18-13 by the Cornhuskers.

NIU lost the time of possession battle 36:34-23:26, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.

NIU looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against San Diego State. Nebraska will aim to get back on the winning track vs. Rutgers.
