Thomas Vanek scored a pair of goals, as the Buffalo Sabres handled the Detroit Red Wings 6-2 on Tuesday night.

Buffalo cashed as a -110 home pick 'em, while the teams played OVER the 5.5-goal total set by oddsmakers.

Derek Roy recorded three assists for the Sabres, who got a goal and an assist from both Paul Gaustad and Patrick Kaleta in the payday.

Tomas Holmstrom and Valtteri Filppula found the back of the net for Detroit, which was outshot 37-25 by Buffalo on the night.
