New York bumps off Buffalo

The New York Rangers escaped with a 2-1 win over the Buffalo Sabres at HSBC Arena Saturday night.

New York won as a +143 road underdog while the final score fell UNDER the 5.5-goal total.

The Rangers got 36 saves from goaltender Henrik Lundqvist while Christopher Higgins and Ryan Callahan scored the teams goals.

The Sabres were led by Jason Pominville's lone goal and netminder Ryan Miller, who made 30 saves in the loss.
