Stafford, Sabres slip by Penguins
Drew Stafford had two goals and an assist, including the winner late in the third period to lift the Buffalo Sabres over the Pittsburgh Penguins 4-3 on Tuesday night.
Buffalo cashed as +100 home underdogs, while the teams played OVER the 5.5-goal total set by oddsmakers.
Jason Pominville and Paul Gaustad also scored for the Sabres, who got two assists from Clarke MacArthur in the win.
Bill Guerin, Chris Kunitz, and Jordan Staal lit up the lamp for Pittsburgh, which outshot Buffalo 38-24 on the night.
