Early jump powers Habs over Canes

The Montreal Canadiens scored four goals in the first period and Jaroslav Halak stopped 46 shots en route to a 5-1 win over the Carolina Hurricanes Wednesday at RBC Center.

Montreal won the game as +100 underdogs, while the six goals made it OVER the posted over/under (5.5).

Glen Metropolit scored twice on the power play, while Andrei Markov, Sergei Kostitsyn, and Andrei Kostitsyn also replied for the Canadiens.

Brandon Sutter scored on the power play for the only Hurricanes goal.
