Johan Franzen had a goal and an assist for the Red Wings, who got two assists from both Pavel Datsyuk and Tomas Holmstrom in the win.

Tom Gilbert found the back of the net twice for Edmonton, while Mike Comrie had a goal and an assist for the Oilers.
