St. Louis survives shootout with L.A.
The St. Louis Blues gave up a late tying goal but came away with 5-4 shootout victory over the Los Angeles Kings at the STAPLES Center Saturday night.
St. Louis won as a +115 road underdog while the final score played OVER the 5.5-goal total.
The Blues got the shootout winner from Brad Boyes, who finished with one goal in regulation. Paul Kariya scored twice in the win.
The Kings were led by Scott Parse's goal and assist while Wayne Simmonds finished with two assists.
