Colby Armstrong potted the winner late in the third period to lift the Atlanta Thrashers over the Montreal Canadiens 5-4 on Tuesday night.

Rich Peverley had a goal and two assists for the Thrashers, who got a marker and a helper from Bryan Little in the victory.

Brian Gionta found the back of the net twice for Montreal, which outshot Atlanta 38-30 on the night.
