Islanders strike Lightning

The New York Islanders picked up their second win in three games with a 5-4 win over the Tampa Bay Lightning at Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum Saturday.

New York won as a -111 home favorite while the final score played OVER the 5.5-goal total.

The Isles were led by Richard Park's two goals. Goaltender Martin Biron stopped 38 of the 42 shots on goal for the win.

The Lightning got goals from Steven Stamkos, Mike Lundin, Nate Thompson and Steve Downie in the loss.
