Crosby leads Pens over Avs

Sidney Crosby scored twice and added an assist in leading the Pittsburgh Penguins to a 4-1 win over the Colorado Avalanche Thursday night at Mellon Arena.

Pittsburgh won the game as -280 favorites, while the five goals went UNDER the posted over/under (6).

Bill Guerin and Jordan Staal also scored for the Penguins, who outshot the Avalanche 31-16.

T.J. Galiardi scored the lone goal, and Peter Budaj made 29 saves in the loss for the Avalanche.
