Pittsburgh earned a 3-2 victory over St. Louis on Tuesday, but needed a shootout to do it at Scottrade Center.

Bettors who backed the Penguins were rewarded as +100 underdogs at sportsbooks. Over-Under bettors saw the total score go PUSH the closing total of 5.

Chris Kunitz clinched the win with a shootout goal in round 4 for the Penguins. Steve Sullivan and James Neal each scored for the Penguins in the victory. Neal opened the scoring for Pittsburgh, finding the back of the net at 3:26 of the second period. The goal was assisted by Paul Martin and Chris Kunitz.

Marc-Andre Fleury turned in a 32-save effort for the Penguins.

Patrik Berglund (2) scored for the Blues, finding the net behind Marc-Andre Fleury.

Brian Elliott stopped 37 of 39 shots for the Blues, but it wasn't enough to earn the victory.

On the power play, Pittsburgh went 1-for-4, while the Blues were 0-for-3 with the man advantage.

St. Louis lost the shots on goal battle to Pittsburgh by a margin of 39-34.

Next game, Pittsburgh takes its act home to face Toronto looking for another win. For St. Louis, they head home to face Los Angeles.
