Martin St. Louis, Zenon Konopka, and Steve Downie potted the Lightning goals. Mike Smith made 25 saves for the victory in net.

Bill Guerin scored the lone goal for the Penguins, while Marc-Andre Fleury stopped 34 shots in a losing effort.
