Chuck Kobasew netted the winner early in the third period, as the Minnesota Wild defeated the Edmonton Oilers 4-2 on Tuesday night.

Minnesota won as -270 home favorites, while the game played OVER the 5.5-goal total listed by oddsmakers.

Martin Havlat and Andrew Ebbett had a goal and an assist apiece for the Wild, who were outshot 36-28 by the Oilers in the win.

Marc Pouliot and Ryan Potulny scored for Edmonton, while Sam Gagner assisted on both goals for the Oilers.
