On the power play, Washington went 2-for-5, while the Lightning were 0-for-2 with the man advantage.

Washington lost the shots on goal battle to Tampa Bay by a margin of 40-38.

Washington looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against the Maple Leafs. The Lightning will aim to get back on the winning track at Buffalo.
