San Jose Falls 4-3 to Stars - Recap
It came down to a shootout and Dan Ellis foiled the opposition in a 4-3 victory for Dallas over San Jose Thursday.

The win was clinched by Alex Chiasson, who beat Antti Niemi in a shootout to gain the extra point in the standings for Dallas. Dallas got goals from Trevor Daley, Cody Eakin, and Tyler Seguin in the victory. Seguin opened the scoring at 16:44 of the first period.
Dan Ellis turned in a 32-save effort for the Stars.
San Jose got goals from Patrick Marleau, Tyler Kennedy, and Matthew Nieto in the loss, but it wasn't enough.
Antti Niemi stopped 28 of 31 shots for the Sharks, but it wasn't enough to earn the victory.
On the power play, Dallas went 0-for-3, while the Sharks were 0-for-5 with the man advantage.
Dallas lost the shots on goal battle to San Jose by a margin of 35-31.
Next game, Dallas takes its act on the road to face Los Angeles looking for another win. For San Jose, they head home to face Calgary.
