Jaroslav Halak posted the shutout and Andrei Markov potted two goals to lift the Montreal Canadiens to a 3-0 win over the New York Islanders Saturday at Nassau Coliseum.

Montreal won the game at EVEN odds, while the teams played UNDER the posted over/under (5.5).

Glen Metropolit scored on the power play for the Canadiens, who had all three markers with the man advantage.

Martin Biron made 25 saves in the loss for the Islanders.
