Islanders trim Blue Jackets in shootout

Rob Schremp potted the winner in the shootout to lift the New York Islanders past the Columbus Blue Jackets 2-1 on Tuesday night.

New York won as -120 home favorites, while the game played UNDER the 5.5-goal total set by oddsmakers.

Josh Bailey scored in regulation for the Islanders, who were outshot 42-25 by the Blue Jackets in the payday.

R.J. Umberger found the back of the net for Columbus.
