The battle between the Avalanche and Blackhawks didn’t turn out to be much of a battle at all as Chicago was handed a 6-2 defeat on Friday at Pepsi Center.

Colorado got goals from P.A. Parenteau, John Mitchell, Paul Stastny, Jamie McGinn, Matt Duchene, and Ryan O'Reilly in the victory. Stastny opened the scoring at 16:36 of the first period.
