Phoenix Falls 5-4 to Avalanche - Recap

Mike Smith stopped 24 of 28 shots for the Coyotes, but it wasn't enough to earn the victory.

On the power play, Colorado went 2-for-4, while the Coyotes were 2-for-6 with the man advantage.

Colorado lost the shots on goal battle to Phoenix by a margin of 37-28.

Next game, Colorado takes its act home to face Minnesota looking for another win. For Phoenix, they head on the road to face Anaheim.
