The Arizona Diamondbacks scored four runs in a fourth-inning rally to upend the Atlanta Braves 5-2 in the opener of a four-game set at Chase Field Thursday night.
Arizona won the game as -120 favorites, but the seven runs went UNDER the night's posted over/under (8).
Mark Reynolds went 2-for-4 at the plate and drove in two runs to lead the Diamondbacks. Dan Haren fanned eight batters through eight innings for the win, and Chad Qualls closed out the ninth with his 12th save.
Casey Kotchman had two hits and drove in one run for the Braves. Derek Lowe surrendered fiove runs off 10 hits over seven innings in the loss.
