Braves topple Diamondbacks

Troy Glaus' RBI double in the top of the eighth inning lifted the Atlanta Braves past the Arizona Diamondbacks 7-5 on Tuesday night.

Atlanta won as +100 road underdogs, while the teams played OVER the 9.5-run total listed by oddsmakers.

Miguel Cabrera and Omar Infante were both 3-for-5 with a run batted in for the Braves, as Jonny Venters picked up the win in relief of Kris Medlen for Atlanta.

Kelly Johnson was 3-for-4 with a big fly and three RBIs for Arizona, while Esmerling Vasquez was tagged with the loss after coming into the game following Diamondbacks starter Edwin Jackson.
