Giants outlast Diamondbacks in extra innings

Nate Schierholtz's two-run triple in the top of the 11th inning lifted the San Francisco Giants past the Arizona Diamondbacks 2-0 on Monday.

San Francisco won as -120 road favorites, while the game played UNDER the 9-run total set by oddsmakers.

Edgar Renteria was 2-for-4 for the Giants, as Santiago Casilla got the win for San Francisco in relief of Madison Bumgarner.

Kelly Johnson went 2-for-4 for Arizona, while Aaron Heilman was hit with the loss for the Diamondbacks after allowing the go-ahead runs in the 11th.
