Late surge pushes Braves

The Atlanta Braves scored four runs in the seventh inning, and another two runs in the eighth inning to defeat the Milwaukee Brewers 7-4 at Turner Field.

Jo-Jo Reyes allowed four runs on four hits on 5 1-3 innings, and Manny Acosta (1-1) earned the win. Mark Teixeira drove in a pair of runs for the Braves.

Chris Capuano gave up a run on seven hits over five innings, while Claudio Vargas (11-5) took the loss. Ryan Braun homered and had three RBIs for the Brewers.
