Marlins sweep away Braves

Cody Ross belted a three-run homer and drove in four runs to lead the Florida Marlins to a 6-2 win over the Atlanta Braves Thursday and a sweep of the three-game series at Turner Field.

Florida won the game as +115 underdogs, while the eight runs fell UNDER the posted over/under (8.5).

Dan Uggla went 2-for-4 at the plate with two runs scored for the Marlins. Anibal Sanchez scattered eight hits and two runs over six innings to earn the victory.

Jeff Francoeur drove in two runs and finished 2-for-4 at the plate for the Braves. Kenshin Kawakami gave up five runs over six innings in the loss.
