Marlins fend off Braves

Dan Uggla homered and drove in all three runs as the Florida Marlins defeated the Atlanta Braves 3-2 Sunday at Turner Field to avoid a three-game sweep.

The Marlins won the game as +140 underdogs, while the five runs went UNDER the posted over/under (7.5) set by sportsbooks.

Ricky Nolasco whiffed 11 batters over seven innings for the win, and Leo Nunez secured the victory with his 17th save.

Tim Hudson gave up six hits and three runs over his eight innings in the loss for the Braves.
