Nationals avoid sweep by Braves
Willie Harris launched a two-run homer and the Washington Nationals defeated the Atlanta Braves 6-2 Thursday, avoiding a three-game sweep at Turner Field.
The Nationals won the game as +190 underdogs, while the eight runs went UNDER the posted over/under (8.5) set by sportsbooks.
Michael Morse also went deep for the Nationals, while John Lannan scattered seven hits and two earned runs over 5 1-3 innings in the win.
Derek Lowe suffered the loss on the hill for the Braves, giving up six hits and four runs over his seven innings.
