Big inning powers Braves
The Atlanta Braves scored six runs in the sixth inning as they beat the St. Louis Cardinals 8-6 Friday night at Turner Field.

Brian McCann drove in a pair of runs for the Braves, and Peter Moylan earned the win in relief. Billy Wagner pitched a scoreless ninth for his 33rd save.
Chris Carpenter gave up eight hits and eight runs over five innings in the loss for the Cardinals.
