Long ball powers Cubs
Aramis Ramirez belted a two-run homer as the Chicago Cubs defeated the Cincinnati Reds 5-3 Saturday afternoon at Wrigley Field, and now lead the three-game series 2-0.
The Cubs won the game as -140 favorites, while the team’s played UNDER the posted over/under (9.5).
Alfonso Soriano and Milton Bradley also went deep for the Cubs. Kevin Hart went six innings on the hill for the victory, allowing just five hits and one run.
Joey Votto belted a solo home run and had a sacrifice fly RBI for the Reds. Johnny Cuteo gave up nine hits and four runs over six innings in the loss.
