Reds sneak past Angels
Ken Griffey Jr.’s sacrifice fly proved to be the winning run, as the Cincinnati Reds snuck past the LA Angels 5-3 Tuesday night at Great American Ball Park.
Cincinnati won the game as +145 underdogs, and the eight runs fell UNDER the posted over/under (9.5).
Jeff Hamilton was 2-for-4 with on RBI for the Reds. Jon Coutlangus pitched an inning of relief for the win, and David Weathers closed out the game with his 13th save.
Casey Kotchman homered and finished 3-for-5 at the plate for the Angels. Dustin Moseley gave up the winning run and suffered his first loss of the season.
