The Cincinnati Reds earned a split of a two-game set at Great American Ball Park by defeating the Milwaukee Brewers 6-5 Thursday night.
Cincinnati won the game as +110 underdogs, while the 11 runs made it OVER the posted over/under (9.5).
Jay Bruce hit a solo home run for the Reds, while scoring twice in the victory. Micah Owings notched his second win of the season, and Francisco Cordero collected his eight save.
Prince Fielder went 3-for-3 at the plate with two RBIs for the Brewers. Braden Looper gave up five runs off eight hits in suffering the loss.
