Reds trim Astros; sweep series
The Cincinnati Reds completed a three-game sweep on Wednesday, as they defeated the Houston Astros 6-5 at Great American Ball Park.
Cincinnati won the game as -135 favorites, while the 11 runs made it OVER the posted over/under (9).
Drew Stubbs went 2-for-5 at the plate and drove in two runs, including a solo home run. Jared Burton got the win in relief, and Francisco Cordero earned his 37th win.
Jeff Keppinger went deep for two home runs in a losing effort for the Astros. Wesley Wright surrendered the winning run and was tagged with the loss.
