Reds get past Dodgers
Paul Janish's two-run single in the bottom of the eighth inning lifted the Cincinnati Reds over the Los Angeles Dodgers 11-9 on Tuesday night.
Cincinnati won as +125 home underdogs, while the teams played OVER the 9.5-run total listed by oddsmakers.
Joey Votto was 2-for-3 with a two-run homer and three runs batted in for the Reds, as Mike Lincoln picked up the win in relief of Homer Bailey for Cincinnati.
Casey Blake went 2-for-5 with four RBIs for Los Angeles, while Ramon Troncoso was hit with the loss after allowing the eventual winning runs in the bottom of the eighth.
