Cardinals double Reds

Matt Holliday was 4-for-5 with three runs batted in to lead the St. Louis Cardinals past the Cincinnati Reds 8-4 on Tuesday night.

Yadier Molina went 2-for-4 with a big fly and two RBIs for the Cardinals, as winning pitcher Jaime Garcia allowed four runs over 5 1-3 innings for St. Louis.

Drew Stubbs knocked in two runs for Cincinnati, while Johnny Cueto was handed the loss after giving up four earned runs over 5 1-3 innings for the Reds.
