Reds edge Brewers in extra innings

Jay Bruce's run-scoring single in the bottom of the 10th inning lifted the Cincinnati Reds past the Milwaukee Brewers 5-4 on Monday night.

Cincinnati cashed as -150 home favorites, while the teams played UNDER the 9.5-run total set by oddsmakers.

Bruce finished 3-for-5 with a homer and two runs batted in for the Reds, as Francisco Cordero picked up the win for Cincinnati in relief of Homer Bailey.

Casey McGehee was 2-for-4 with an RBI for Milwaukee, while Trevor Hoffman was handed the loss after allowing Bruce's single in the bottom of the 10th.
