Rockies stop Giants
The Colorado Rockies scored seven runs in the sixth inning as they defeated the San Francisco Giants 14-11 Saturday night at Coors Field.
Colorado won the game as -200 favorites, and the 25 runs sailed OVER the night’s posted over/under (9.5).
Ian Stewart went 2-for-4 at the plate, including a three-run homer and four RBIs for the Rockies. Jorge De La Rosa improved to 12-8 with the win, allowing eight hits and six runs over six innings.
Ryan Garko belted two home runs and drove in four runs to lead the Giants. Justin Miller gave up four runs in less than one inning of relief in the loss.
