Marlins sneak past Twins

Hanley Ramirez's solo shot in the bottom of the eighth inning was the difference on Friday, as the Florida Marlins edged the Minnesota Twins 5-4 at Dolphins Stadium.

The Marlins were home favorites at -115, and the nine runs scored were a PUSH with the posted total of 9.

Scott Olsen went six innings, allowing two runs on eight hits, and the win went to Armando Benitez (2-3). Dan Uggla homered and drove in three runs for the Marlins.

Boof Bonser gave up four runs on six hits, and Juan Rincon (2-1) took the loss. Jason Kubel added a pinch-hit RBI double for the Twins.
