Twins hook Marlins

Joe Mauer went 2-for-4 with three RBIS on Saturday, sparking the Minnesota Twins to an 11-1 victory over the Florida Marlins at Dolphin Stadium.

The Twins were road favorites at -120, and the 12 runs scored were OVER the posted total of 9.5.

Carlos Silva (5-8) allowed a run on four hits over seven innings, and Jason Bartlett also drove in three runs for the Twins.

Josh Johnson (0-2) was rocked for seven runs on eight hits in three innings, while Alfredo Amezaga was 1-for-4 with an RBI for the Marlins.
