Dodgers dump Marlins
The Los Angeles Dodgers rallied from three runs down to defeat the Florida Marlins 6-4 Friday night in the opener of a three-game series at Dolphin Stadium.
Los Angeles won the game as +120 underdogs, while the 10 runs made it OVER the posted over/under (9).
Casey Blake went 2-for-4 at the plate and drove in one run for the Dodgers. Jeff Weaver improved to 2-0 with the win, and Jonathan Broxton picked up the save.
Cody Ross hit a two-run homer to lead the Marlins. Chris Volstad gave up four runs off seven hits over six innings in the loss.
