Rays rally upends Marlins

The Tampa Bay Rays scored four runs in the 11th inning and held on to defeat the Florida Marlins 9-8 Saturday night at Sun Life Stadium.

Tampa Bay won the game as +116 underdogs, while the 17 runs sailed OVER the posted over/under (9) set by sportsbooks.

James Shields improved to 6-6 with the win in relief, and Andy Sonnanstine finished the game for his first save.

Hanley Ramirez homered and drove in three runs for the Marlins. Jorge Sosa gave up four runs and suffered the loss on the mound.
