Marlins pound the Nationals

Hanley Ramirez homered and drove in three runs on Saturday night to lead the Florida Marlins to a 7-1 win over the Washington Nationals.

The Marlins got the victory as -144 home favorites in this contest, while the combined score fell UNDER the night's posted total (9.5).

Jorge Cantu also homered in the win for Florida, while starter Chris Volstad went the distance while giving up just one run.

Craig Stammen was knocked around for four runs (three earned) over four innings in his start for the Nationals.
