The Florida Marlins exploded for six runs in the third inning as they defeated the New York Mets 10-8 Sunday for a sweep of the three-game series at Sun Life Stadium.

The Marlins won the game as -165 favorites, and the 18 runs sailed OVER the posted over/under (8.5) set by sportsbooks.

Chris Coghlan belted a pinch-hit three-run homer to lead the Marlins. Ricky Nolasco tossed six innings for the win, allowing two earned runs off six hits.

Jonathon Niese gave up five runs off four hits in just two innings in the loss.
