Chad Tracy knocked in a run for the Marlins, as Jose Veras picked up the win for Florida in relief of Adalberto Mendez.

David Wright was 3-for-4 with a solo homer for New York, while Elmer Dessens took the loss for the Mets after allowing Sanchez's jack in the eighth.
